Matthew J. Leone

Matthew J. Leone brings a fresh marketing perspective and extensive knowledge of web technologies & techniques to Halstead Property that helps to set the company apart from its competitors. He started at Terra Holdings in 2004 and was promoted to Marketing Manager in 2007. Matthew is currently the Director of Web Marketing and Social Media for the Terra Marketing, Halstead's twenty-three member in-house marketing and technology division.

As Director of Web Marketing & Social Media, Matthew is responsible for the everyday direction of the resources and operations of the marketing/ technology division. He is passionate about staying on top of the latest trends and integrating technological and innovative solutions into all forms of marketing. He also oversees the day-to-day responsibilities of Web 2.0 efforts including social media like Facebook, Halstead Blog, Foursquare and Twitter as well as video marketing that both help build and interact with the virtual community.

Prior to joining Halstead Property, Matthew worked at the sports marketing firm, NSM. While at NSM, he gained experience in the various facets of the marketing mix by working directly with the events and marketing promotions for the Big East Conference basketball account as well as creating marketing proposals for the PGA tour event sponsors.

Creative and detail-oriented, colleagues find that he works tirelessly towards unique ways of approaching real estate marketing. Graduating with honors from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY, Matthew earned a double concentration in marketing and finance. Moreover, he has also dedicates time to continued learning through his affiliation and membership with the American Marketing Association. Matthew has also appeared as a panelist and speaker at past Inman Real Estate Connect Conferences as well as other Continued Education Seminars speaking on concepts that will shape the future of real estate marketing and technology. He has been routinely interviewed and quoted in publications like the New York Times, New York Magazine and the The Real Deal as well as other publications and blogs.

Matthew is married with a daughter, and currently resides with his wife in New Rochelle, NY.
