Mr. Gottsegen serves as the President and Director of Management of the Halstead Management Company, LLC which manages over 18,000 multi-family units in the New York City area. He has over 25 years experience in real estate, encompassing all facets of Rental, Cooperative and Condominium management. Prior to his leadership position with Halstead, Mr. Gottsegen was a Managing Director at the Insignia Residential Group. Previously, he held the position of Owner and Chief Executive of Soren Management, Inc. and, prior to that, he served as a Vice President with Douglas Elliman-Gibbons & Ives.

Mr. Gottsegen is a New York State licensed real estate broker, an Honorary Member of the New York Building Managers' Association, an Honorary Associate Member of the Scandinavian American Building Managers Guild, and a member of the Real Estate Board of New York's Residential Management Council. He holds the national designation of Certified Property Manager (CPM) and was awarded "C.P.M. of the Year" in 2007 by the Institute of Real Estate Management in Chicago, Illinois. He was recently awarded the 2009 Residential Management Executive of the Year by the Real Estate Board of New York.
