New Halstead Site Clicks With Buyers

Foot traffic hike a direct result of online service, says brokerage

Halstead Property Development Marketing just reported as big jump in traffic to its new website HalsteadPDM.com, with more than 100,000 unique visitors since its launch two months ago.

HalsteadPDM.com launched in August and was created to offer potential buyers a more user-friendly experience throughout the search process.

The site employs several Web 2.0 features that allow visitors to conduct easy real-time searches for available units by location, price or specific amenity and is the first development-specific site created by any of the major brokerages in New York City.

Developers just added new functionality that allows users to save properties they want to re-visit in the future to a password protected account.

"We created this site to help potential customers easily navigate all of our properties and the muubers have shown great success," said Stephen G. Kliegerman, executive director of Development Marketing at Halstead Property. "Our site is a valued asset to New Yorkers, and we'll be adding more features and content in the coming months to make it an even more comprehensive resource for buyers."

As a result of the site's success, traffic at the developments has increased over the over the past two months, bringing in more potential customers.

"We've definitely noticed an increase in foot traffic," said Vanessa Connolly, the lead broker at Toren, one of the site's most clicked-on properties. "When potential buyers come in, many of them have already visited the site and have a clear sense of what they are looking for."

This site was designed by John Marshall of Inoventiv Corp.
