Former William B May President Roberta Benzilio Now Heads Halstead Property Brooklyn

Halstead Property announces that Roberta Benzilio has been named executive director of sales of Halstead Property Brooklyn. She previously served as Senior Director of Sales for Halstead Property Development Marketing.

In her new role, Benzilio is responsible for Halstead’s strategic growth in Brooklyn and the day-to-day operations of the three offices in Brooklyn Heights, Cobble Hill and Boerum Hill. In addition, she oversees the firm’s new development projects in the local area.

“In her new role, Roberta provides outstanding leadership and substantial experience that our clients and agents have come to expect from the leadership team of Halstead Property,” said Diane Ramirez, Halstead president. “We are thrilled to recognize Roberta’s valuable contribution to the company and we are confident that she will continue her record of success in her new position.”

Described by Halstead as “a consummate real estate professional with nearly 30 years of experience,” Benzilio has a long history working with residential sellers and buyers in Brooklyn. Prior to joining Halstead, she was president of the William B. May Company, and also served as COO for Century 21 William B. May.

During her tenure as senior director of sales for Halstead Property Development Marketing, Benzilio developed and executed sales strategies for all of the company’s new development projects, many of which were record sellouts.

Saying she was honored and thrilled to be returning to Brooklyn, Benzilio commented, “Halstead is a leader in the New York City real estate market and I am excited to be promoted to this new role in such a well respected and prestigious firm.”
