BROOKLYN HEIGHTS — What is going on in Albany and what is happening with the residential market in Brooklyn are among the topics to be discussed at the next Brooklyn Real Estate Roundtable set for Tuesday, Aug. 4, at the Brooklyn Historical Society in Brooklyn Heights.
The scheduled list of speakers includes the following:
• State Senator Eric Adams, who will discuss “What’s Going On in Albany.” His focus will be on what we can expect regarding luxury decontrol, rent regulation and the aftermath of the June coup.
• Mark Caller, managing member of GLC Group, who will discuss “What’s Going On in the Residential Market.” GLC just successfully sold-out North Fourth, a condominium project in Williamsburg, and is currently constructing a 17-story residential building at 163 Washington Ave. in Clinton Hill.
• Brian Carr of the Environmental Protection Agency who will discuss the EPA’s vision for the cleanup of the Gowanus Canal and the Superfund Plan.
• Cas Holloway, chief of staff for the deputy mayor of operations and special advisor to Mayor Bloomberg, who will speak about the city’s competing vision for the Gowanus Superfund Plan.
