Halstead Agents Receive New York Residential Specialist Qualifications

Identifying a need to further enhance the careers and knowledge of real estate brokers, Halstead Property was intricately involved in launching a REBNY post graduate course titled ‘New York Residential Specialist.’  The first course was recently completed and the following Halstead agents received the certification of New York Residential Specialist (NYRS): Alan Pfeifer, a Senior Vice President in Halstead Village office; Nancy Coffey, Vice President in the Eastside office; and Rena Goldstein, Senior Vice President in the Eastside office.  Pfeifer also serves as chairman of the REBNY sub committee responsible for developing the new Post Graduate course.

“With a variety of unique topics covered in this course, brokers come away with advanced knowledge on everything from building operations to leadership and ethics,” said Diane M. Ramirez, President of Halstead Property.  “We are very excited to be involved as teachers, students, and supporters of this important development in real estate education.”

The course was designed for brokers who aspire to achieve the highest level of knowledge and professionalism and to raise the bar in the industry.  There are 40 teachers for the course.  Course topics include Psychology & Real Estate, The Art of Negotiation, Professional Ethics, and Advanced Business Communications.
