Kliegerman's New Hat
Terra Holdings, the parent company of Brown Harris Stevens and Halstead Property, has named Stephen Kliegerman as president of the group's newly formed business, Terra Development Marketing.
Mr. Kliegerman, who for the past six years has served as executive director of Halstead Property Development Marketing, will hold both titles simultaneously. Under his newest title, however, he will now be responsible for the operations, direction and management of new business, client relations, pre-development planning and marketing and sales for new projects at Brown Harris Stevens and Halstead Property, two separate entities under the Terra Holdings umbrella.
"Steve brings an incredible breadth of knowledge and proven track record in the new development field, making him the ideal candidate for this new role," said Alan Kersner, chief operating officer of Terra Holdings, in a statement. "At a time when the new development market is on the rise, both Brown Harris Stevens and Halstead Property are poised to increase their market share significantly. We are excited to have Steve at the helm to direct and manage the growth of our new developments."
Terra Development's Marketing Chief
Terra Holdings, meanwhile, has also named Roberta Benzilio as executive director of Terra Development Marketing.
Ms. Benzilio, who since 2009 has worked as executive director of Brooklyn sales at Halstead Property, will now be responsible for new investments and development projects represented by both Brown Harris Stevens and Halstead.
"Roberta Benzilio is a proven leader with a remarkable track record," said Mr. Kliegerman, the recently appointed president of the new group, in a statement. "She brings a formidable knowledge of this business and an intimate understanding of this company that will serve us well."
