Halstead Joins Commercial Market
Halstead Property is forming an investment sales division and entering the commercial business, the company announced today. John Goldman, a former executive managing director of Murray Hill Properties, will be the managing director of the firm's new group. Commercial sales in New York City have dropped dramatically in recent months as the credit markets have collapsed. But Goldman said Halstead believes it can capitalize on the commercial sales opportunities it hears about but has not previously had the infrastructure to address.
