General Sales Manager
Jim Gricar will leave his role as the West Side manager at Brown Harris Stevens to fill a new position, general sales manager, at Halstead Property. The two firms are owned by Terra Holdings and Gricar said the move lacked the controversy typically associated with job changes.
"The owners approached me about the opportunity and I was very excited," Gricar said. "I'll get to work directly with Diane Ramirez [the president of Halstead] and manage operations, not only on the West Side, but across the firm." The move is effective April 4.
Replacing Gricar at Brown Harris is Kevin Kovesci, who will vacate his role managing Brown Harris' Tribeca and Village offices, for the Upper West Side office position. Kovesci has been with Brown Harris since 2006, the year after Gricar joined the firm to manage the Upper West Side office.
"I am looking forward to working again with past colleagues in the neighborhood in which I started my real estate career so many years ago," Kovesci said.
