Last night was REBNY’s 20th Anniversary Residential Deal of the Year Awards & Charity Gala in Central Park, honoring toppers in residential sales and rentals. Each of the first-place winners received $1,500 for a charity of their choice, and all other proceeds went to REBNY’s Residential Members In Need Fund and the Central Park Conservancy (over the last 20 years, the event has raised more than $2.5M to help the homeless). Many in attendance got in the masked mood, donning sparkly and feathered disguises, while others preferred to stay au naturale and make networking a bit easier.
And the winners are (drumroll, please…)
Residential Deal of the Year (Sales)
First Prize: Dan Danielli, Halstead
Second Prize: Norman Horowitz and Gary Friedland, Halstead
Third Prize: Judy Oston, Don Correia and Ruth Yeskel, Halstead
Residential Deal of the Year (Rental)
J Caroline Bass, Citi Habits and Lynda Wiggins, Brown Harris Stevens Residential Sales
Henry Forster Award
John Wollberg, Halstead
Residential Most Promising Rookie Salesperson of the Year
Ari Harkov, Halstead

CB Previews’ Joshua Judge and Halstead Property’s Jill Sloane and Robyn Kammerer. One of Jill’s deals was in the running for an award; she brokered the largest residential transaction ever in Harlem, an $8M penthouse at 111 Central Park North.
Halstead’s Richard Grossman, Judy Oston, Diane Ramirez and Christa Harpin. Rick recently returned from Paris, where the lucky duck got to attend a Fiat car show. And if you need a fun distraction while waiting for next Tuesday’s swing states to report, head over to Christa’s—she’s throwing a big Election Day party (we’re not disclosing who she’s rooting for, however).
