NEW YORK, NY – Halstead Property is proud to announce that its newly re-launched website has won the Web Marketing Association’s 2011 WebAward for Outstanding Achievement in Web Development. Each year, the WebAwards recognizes the premiere websites across 96 different industries and identifies companies with progressive tactics and innovation in website development and effective online marketing.
Halstead’s winning website, which re-launched a few months ago, scored above the industry average in all judging categories. “I am thrilled that our newly enhanced website was recognized for outstanding achievement. It is an honor that is much deserved by our MarTech Team, who worked incredibly hard to create a new user experience with comprehensive data and advanced tools that better accommodate the needs of our users. We accomplished our goal of reinventing the way that consumers look at real estate, and we are so proud of the new Halstead.com,” said Diane M. Ramirez, President of Halstead Property.
Halstead Property is the first real estate company to list both active and historical listings data on the majority of buildings in New York City free of charge. Additional features of the newly enhanced Halstead.com include geo-targeting that immediately recognizes the geographic location of the consumer to make the search process as easy as possible, upgraded high definition videos, larger pictures throughout the site, as well as a sleeker and cleaner layout with faster loading times.
The newly re-launched website is part of a larger effort that Halstead has been focusing on to further enhance and build its already impressive online presence. With more than 700 high-definition property videos, Halstead’s video library is already among the largest nationally. Halstead was also the first to include Virtual Office Website (VOW) technology on all its agent websites, and to develop room painter, virtual staging and drone helicopters to enhance property presentations. These factors, combined with the iPad and iPhone friendliness of the site, demonstrate what made Halstead’s website a winner.
