David Owens joined the Halstead Property family after a successful career as a Member of the American Stock Exchange.
Born and raised on the Upper West Side, David's friends and colleagues have nicknamed him the "unofficial mayor" of Manhattan. His aggressive dedication and commitment to clients, coupled with his knowledge of the city, has contributed to his success, here at Halstead. His thorough immersion into his work and the quality of service he provides has helped forge a devoted relationship with his buyers and sellers.
David is a graduate of The McBurney Prep School and Cornell University. After playing professional baseball for four years, he headed to Wall Street, where he has spent the last 7 years as an equity derivatives trader. David spent a year at The Juilliard School studying musical theatre and has performed throughout Manhattan. When not working for his clients, David can also be found headlining as a stand up comic in NYC, Vegas and LA. In addition, he frequents Reebok Sports Club, NYC and Jerome Boxing in the Bronx, where he teaches boxing and trains for his hobby as a competitive boxer.
