Even though Joanne spent the first half of her life in New England, including attending Colby College, she considers New York home. A variety of prior work experiences brought her to Feathered Nest in 1985: She has been in insurance administration, a teacher in the New York City public school system, and a doctor's assistant.
Joanne and husband, Jack, brought up their two children in Manhattan's private schools. She was president of the Parents' Association at one of these schools. She also has been on the board of directors of their New York City cooperative for 15 years. They enjoy family trips to their southern Florida condominium when time permits.
Whether dealing in rentals or sales, Joanne is known for her patience and professionalism. Her expertise includes finding homes for families and also for relocating corporate executives with both short and long term needs.
