Mr. Barton is an Associate Broker, affiliated with Halstead Property, LLC for 15 years. During that period, he has won four Quarterly awards for high performance, including the coveted “Highest Gross Commission Award”. He is member of the Producer's Council and the Platinum Circle, Halstead's two honorary groups, and has been a member of the Real Estate Board of New York since joining Halstead.
As an experienced broker, Mr. Barton brings a broad understanding of the real estate sales process to every transaction. His continuing enthusiasm and ability to see and head off problems (often before they happen) provides a smooth sales experience for his clients.
Two years ago he and his wife bought, renovated and moved into a coop apartment at 50 W. 67th St., where they are thoroughly enjoying the coop experience. They owned a townhouse on 87th Street for years before that. He has recently been elected to the Coop Board of his building, where he is now even more aware of the importance of an accurate, "User Friendly" Board package. He works with sellers and buyers in all types of buildings - coops, townhouses and condos of all sizes.
Prior to entering real estate, Mr. Barton directed sales for several major jingle (advertising music) companies in a career that spanned fifteen years. His love of music continues. He is a weekend guitar player and pop music buff. Mr. Barton is a family man with two grown children. He is a dog and a cat lover, too.
He is a part-time resident of Nantucket Island, where his wife owns an art gallery. He brings a love of architecture to his work and enjoys working with people, especially when bringing a buyer and seller together.
