Darien is a picturesque small coastal town hugging the shoreline of Long Island Sound less than an hour from Manhattan. Within Darien’s 14.9 square miles, residents enjoy a wide variety of resources including two sandy public beaches, 205 acres of park and recreational facilities, a renowned indoor ice rink, movie theater, an impressive baseball park, not to mention a highly respected equestrian center. Its two train stations and close proximity to I-95 and the Merritt Parkway not only make for easy access to New York, but provide a gateway to the rest of New England as well.

Known for its family friendly neighborhoods and excellent schools, Darien has one of the highest expenditures per student in the nation with over ninety percent of graduates going on to competitive colleges and universities.
