Aimee MacKimm is a native Chicagoan. After receiving her bachelor's degree from the University of Dayton in Ohio, her love of travel took her to United Airlines where she began a sixteen year career as a flight attendant. Aimee was based first in Chicago and then in New York City where she flew both domestic and internationally and traveled extensively. After September 11, 2001, Aimee took time off from flying to concentrate on spending time with her family and raising her children. She has been a resident of New Canaan since 1998.

Aimee has two children in New Canaan schools and is deeply involved in her community. She has been a member of the Young Women's League of New Canaan and the St. Aloysius Women's Club. She is a member of the PTC and a volunteer at both East School and Saxe Middle School. She is also a member of the New Canaan Board of Realtors, the New Canaan Multiple Listing Service, the National Association of Realtors, and the Greater Fairfield County Multiple Listing Service.
