As an attorney specializing in real estate law for twenty-eight years prior to his association with Halstead Property, LLC in 1997, Allen brings a broad background in real estate, business and finance to his career as a residential real estate sales broker.

Having most enjoyed the inter-personal and "deal making" facets of his legal career, Allen has concentrated on those aspects of his experience in his career at Halstead Property. These skills have made for success in dealing with cooperative boards and condominiums, accountants, attorneys, managing agents, and executors resulting in the consummation of a variety of complicated transactions which otherwise might have faltered. Allen, together with his wife Nina, specialize in the handling of estate real property transactions at Halstead Property. His brokerage skills have proven formidable most recently resulting in his having become a member of Halstead Property's Platinum Circle in four consecutive quarters as well as having been awarded their Listing Award for five consecutive quarters. Allen has recently been elected to Halstead Property's Producers Council.

Allen was born and raised in New York City and is a graduate of New York University and St. John's University School of Law. He has owned and resided in a cooperative apartment and served on it’s board of directors and currently he and his wife Nina own and reside in a townhouse in Brooklyn Heights. His daughter Lauren has recently been awarded a Masters degree from CCNY’s School of Journalism and his son Eric has begun practicing corporate law with the law firm of Chadbourne and Parke. Besides his real estate activities, including membership in The Real Estate Board of New York, Allen is an accomplished amateur photographer and jazz aficionado.
