Amela Kadric’s effectiveness in real estate sales is founded on a deep knowledge of her product, keen understanding of the market, and sharp ability to negotiate a sound deal. Yet it is the dedication she brings to her work and strong relationships she builds with clients and peers that as importantly define her success. Amela owes much of her real estate success to skills honed in previous careers, coupled with her ability to develop trusting relationships with clients and gain understanding of their goals.
After earning a BA degree in Business Economics from Lehman College, she moved to Las Vegas where her career blossomed over the next five years in the hotel and casino industry. A team opening member of the MGM Mirage Casino, Amela worked her way from roles as marketing coordinator to management, and from the information systems to the corporate arena.
Her diverse talents lent themselves perfectly to residential real estate sales, a field Amela enthusiastically embraced in 2002 when she got a prime opportunity to work on-site at the luxurious rental building at 125 Court Street in downtown Brooklyn. From there, Amela worked directly for DUMBO developer David Walentas representing beautiful oversized luxury loft condominiums at 70 Washington Street.
Tenacious by nature, Amela is keenly aware that "whether representing the buyer or seller, one is privy to a client's personal needs and information. Discretion and ethical behavior are terribly important to me. So whether I am helping a seller move forward in life or a buyer to wake-up in the home of their dreams, I hold a deep respect for the asset value of the property and the need to protect that asset at all times."
