Barbara Stevens has real estate in her blood. She was born and raised in a real estate family, watching both her mother and her grandmother find success as brokers in suburban New Jersey. She can remember taking evening car rides with her parents to simply check out "what was on the market," and this led to a love of houses and an aspiration to the profession.
Barbara has been listing and selling real estate in Darien and Rowayton for 29 years. It is a source of pride that her listings are managed in an organized and professional manner with emphasis placed on correct pricing and maximum visual presentation. With both listing and buying clients, she finds that education in both current market conditions and the local transaction process to be of utmost importance.
Barbara brings with the longevity of her career the advantage of having lived in Darien and Rowayton for 35 years where she has owned and renovated five homes. For 18 years, her children were in the Darien public school system, to which she devoted many volunteer hours. She also served on the Board of Directors of the Darien YMCA.
Barbara dabbles in the arts and in yoga, and takes occasional time on Martha's Vineyard, where her family has had roots since the 1940s.
