When Becky Munro sold both her own co-op on East 9th in New York City and her home in West Hampton in 1987, she knew then that real estate would eventually turn from a passion into a profession. Relocating her international oil trading business to Darien shortly afterward, Becky’s involvement in foreign real estate prompted a successful career change which has resulted in her becoming a top producer at Halstead Property.
In 2008, Becky was named one of the Top Producing Agents in the then Wheeler Office. In 2009, Becky became a designated Member of Halstead Property’s Gold Circle and Platinum Circle for producing high end sales. In 2010, Becky again achieved both Gold and Platinum Circle Membership, as well as Producer’s Council status for being in the top 5% of agents in the company, in addition to becoming a member of the prestigious President’s Council.
As Becky says, "I am very fortunate to work with wonderful clients in a business that is exciting, ever changing, and always challenging. For most people, their real estate transactions are hugely important and one of the most serious decisions they will make. My responsibility to my clients is to really listen to them, their needs and wants, and help them refine and define their goals into a workable strategy.
If they are buyers, I will help them find the right property and negotiate to the best price. If they are sellers, we will together create a comprehensive and compelling marketing plan. You need to understand your town and what is important to potential buyers. Then you can customize and display your client's property’s unique and distinctive characteristics to achieve the highest possible selling price.
Becky resides in Darien, Connecticut with her husband and two children, both of whom attended the Darien school system. She is an active member in St. Luke’s Church and its Youth Outreach Program, the Darien Boat Club, the Country Club of Darien, the St. Andrew’s Society of New York, the Vanderbilt Parents Association, and the Miami University Alumnus.
