After 38 years in the banking industry, Ben Smith switched gears and decided he wanted a new career… in real estate. The desire to help people comes naturally to Ben, and helping people find their dream homes appealed to him. Six years into the business, Ben has found that working with clients to help them find the house they can call home is as satisfying as he thought it would be. He has listed and negotiated the sale of premier waterfront properties as well as starter homes for first-time buyers. Each transaction has been a pleasure for Ben as well as his clients.

Ben has lived in Darien all his life, raised his two children here, and is the proud grandfather of three. He has also been involved in community activities over the years including volunteering at the Darien Nature Center, Darien Historical Society and the Commission on Aging.
