For the HGTV television network, I serve as the on-camera New York pricing expert for their nationally televised show, My Home Is Worth What?, and the New York on-camera host for HGTV's National Open House. I am also the on-camera Manhattan property expert for the BBC, and regularly feature my clients' homes on NBC's Open House NYC. I lead seminars for my fellow Halstead agents on how to effectively market homes, how to best work with buyers, and how to propel their businesses. I'm privileged to serve as a speaker for the Real Estate Board of New York's industry-wide Masters Series talks on successfully selling property and properly serving clients, and as a Board Member for Brokers Build - Habitat for Humanity, where I donate a portion of every commission.
I’ve sold condos, co-ops, townhouses, and lofts all over New York—Upper Westside, Upper Eastside, Harlem, Midtown East and West, Chelsea, Greenwich Village, Washington Heights, Tribeca, Soho, Inwood, Riverdale, East Village, the Flatiron and Financial Districts, and all over Brooklyn. Beyond my work in New York, I’ve built a global property network, and I employ it to link contacts all over the world to agents whom I deem effective for my clients. From Sydney to Paris, from Cleveland to Mumbai, from Sao Paulo to Istanbul, I pride myself in my ability to be the property resource not only for my clients in New York, but around the world. Born in Richmond, VA, I was raised in Atlanta, GA, and Charlotte, NC. I graduated from The College of William and Mary, with a double concentration in Government and Theatre. My studies also took me to Paris, where I developed my fluency in French, and to North Carolina School of the Arts, where I studied acting.
I fulfilled a lifelong dream when I moved to New York. While working in Guest Services and Sales at the Four Seasons and Ritz-Carlton Hotels, I studied with legendary actress Uta Hagan. I’ve played roles Off-Broadway, on TV, in Films, in numerous TV/Radio commercials, and have voiced several audiobooks. My true joy and success, however, was discovered when I began selling homes. I enjoy my work because I enjoy pleasing my clients. Once my clients are perfectly happy, I like to bike ride along the Hudson, study New York City history, and travel. I’ve explored many exciting destinations around the USA, Europe, and South America, but my favorite place is still New York City.
I’ve lived in this incredible city since 1991 – Downtown, Midtown, and currently in a wonderful Prewar Co-op I own on the Upper Westside, where I served on my building’s Board of Directors.
