By age 12, Charles Botensten was already employed as a caddie at the local Country Club. He recognized even then his innate ability to connect with people. His patience and charm puts all parties at ease when deals become thorny. And this, clients agree, has helped close numerous transactions with ease. Charles employs an open-door policy with communication, ensuring all decisions are discussed to an agreed conclusion. He is reliable, loyal, and dedicated, with an unyielding work ethic that ensures each expectation is surpassed.
Prior to Halstead, Charles played Division II rugby at York College of Pennsylvania, which instilled a teamwork and “never give-up” mentality. Following his Bachelor of Arts degree, he was recruited to a known mutual fund company where he worked with the sales team to develop and advance their business. After witnessing their creative approaches, he yearned to replicate it in real estate.
Charles lives an active lifestyle in Manhattan, with multiple hockey games per week, bike riding, non-fiction novels, skiing, a monthly Dinner Club, cooking, and being a superb uncle. His sights are set on biking around the entire island of Manhattan one day this summer. He also has a long term goal of getting his pilots license.
