A native of northern California, Christopher is very much a New Yorker at heart and can relate all too well to the allure of living in the big city. With a background as a creative professional, his career has taken him all over the world, as well as all over the five boroughs.

Christopher's decision to enter the real estate business was the culmination of years of exciting creative experience. After a long and successful career in fashion and luxury advertising, retail branding, and magazine artistic direction, he took time last year to independently offer his services on a variety of smaller scale endeavors. He assisted homeowners with improvement projects including the construction of raised garden beds for sustainable urban farming, the conversion of an otherwise unused basement space into a luxurious wine storage system, and also furniture design and construction for optimizing unusual spaces. He also drew on his retail and branding experience to help friends open a new shop, creating eye-catching window displays that attracted customers even before the grand opening.

After a year of designing, building, problem solving, and offering motivational support, Christopher realized that he wanted to help people feel more at home in the spaces they occupy. In his work at Halstead, he brings a uniquely creative approach to the marketing of every property he handles, and a true understanding of the effect that a home's aesthetics can have on those who live there.

Having graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design, Christopher has a comprehensive knowledge of art and design history, which, combined with his experience in the advertising, luxury and publishing industries gives him a keen grasp of a business in which presentation is critically important. Whether working on a sale or rental, Christopher's goals are not just to find clients places to live, but rather homes that are extensions of their personalities and lifestyles.
