Cornelia was born in New Haven, Connecticut and at birth was a summer resident of East Hampton and Amagansett, where her family has summered since the early 1950's. East Hampton is her childhood home. She graduated from Miss Porter's School and Ohio Wesleyan University with a degree in English Literature.
After working in publishing and the interior design industries in New York, she returned to live in East Hampton with her two boys in 2001, and shortly thereafter began working in Real Estate.
A long history in East Hampton, combined with experience in construction and interior design helps when sharing her knowledge with a seller or customer, whether it is to help stage a property so that it shows to its best advantage, or to show a rental customer how to get a shellfish license, and where to go fishing and clamming. Cornelia enjoys maintaining her up-to-date knowledge of the ever-changing inventory of Hamptons sale and rental properties, and is ready to help a buyer or seller with researched and accurate advice on zoning, building codes, improvement costs, trade contacts and effective ideas to enhance a property's value.
Candor tempered with humor characterizes her relationships with both buyers and sellers.
When not selling real estate, Cornelia enjoys painting, horseback riding, golf, reading, scrabble and fishing. You may see her about town in her red 1977 Ford Bronco.
