Harlem and Upper West Side real estate specialist Danni Tyson wholeheartedly embraces the needs of her clients, and works diligently to make their real estate pursuits as enjoyable and fruitful as possible. Danni provides a unique personal experience to everyone she represents - one founded on trust, fueled by dedication, and fulfilled with attentiveness every step of the way. Because relationships are so important to her success, clients often compare working with Danni to working with a friend, where comfort, confidence and downright honesty are unparalleled.
Whether you are looking to buy, sell or rent an apartment, townhouse or new development in Upper Manhattan, Danni will work around the clock to help you achieve your real estate goals. She is known for successfully negotiating even the most difficult deals and has been nominated for the Real Estate Board of New York’s Deal of the Year award for the tenacity and creativity she continually demonstrates. Yet Danni is just as much appreciated for the humor she brings to the process, and for her ability to laugh at adversity and make lemonade out of lemons.
Originally from Connecticut but raised on the Lower Eastside, Danni resided in a number of Manhattan neighborhoods over the years, including Alphabet City, the East and West Village and Upper Westside. But she’s proudly called Harlem home for the last 25 years. Living in a landmark building surrounded by pre-war charm, Danni worked alone to restore her apartment to its original charm, and gained a deep appreciation for old-world artistry. She also raised her daughter in Harlem where she still thoroughly enjoys living, working, playing and giving of her time on both professional and personal levels each day.
Danni has long been a devoted and integral member of her community in numerous capacities that include serving as Treasurer of Community Board 10. Her previous role on the Land Use and Housing Committees is what initially triggered her desire and knowledge of real estate. Originally appointed in 2001 by Borough President C. Virginia Fields, Danni was reappointed to the board for another term by Borough President Scott Stringer.
Danni also volunteers for The Studio Museum of Harlem and 115th Street Library and is a regular contributor to Black Enterprise Business Report.
