DEAN FELDMAN was the FIRST PRIZE WINNER of the 2007 REBNY RESIDENTIAL DEAL OF THE YEAR. A panel of judges including the Real Estate Board of New York’s Board of Governors (representing its 12,000 members) and the Deal of the Year Committee reviews each Deal of the Year entry based on four criteria: creativity, ingenuity, professionalism and skill. To ensure a fair review of each submission, the award entries exclude company information, street address, and clients’ names.

Interviewed and quoted in Newsday, The New York Post and Crain's New York Business. Profiled in The New York Sun and New York Living. Featured and interviewed on PBS THIRTEEN's New York Voices episode on Affordable Housing on January 27, 2006 as a west side residential broker specialist.
The Brokers' Broker: Dean was elected and served as the Broker Co-Chair of The Real Estate Board of New York's Salespersons' Council for 2000-2002 where he represented over 2,200 Manhattan residential agents in pushing for policy changes which benefit sellers and buyers, enhancing co-brokerage between companies, promoting business ethics and dealing with new issues such as the protection of personal information. Dean also served as the Council's representative to the Inter-firm Forum at REBNY.
Ever since graduating from Duke University, magna cum laude, Dean has been active in New York real estate. He has worn many hats in the real estate business: as a commercial leasing agent, a property manager of nearly a dozen Manhattan buildings, a landlord, a tenant, a mortgagee, a mortgagor, a co-op owner and a co-op board member. Twenty years ago, a friend suggested he join the Halstead team. Dean considers it a rare gift to have found both a career and a company he loves!
Long before it was fashionable, Dean has always taken the time necessary to stage, edit or in rare cases, redecorate his exclusive listings. He enjoys enhancing a homes overall appearance often using his impressive inventory of furnishings and accessories. By providing this over-the-top service, Dean always maximizes the property's sale price.
All of this adds up to the best real estate broker to help YOU both with buying or selling your Manhattan home! Dean Feldman has owned his Manhattan cooperative home for more than twenty years. His passion for New York apartments and real estate is in his blood; Dean's grandfather's New York Real Estate Broker's License from 1923 hangs over his desk.
