When it comes to New Canaan real estate, long-time resident Ellen McBrearity knows her stuff. She has a deep understanding of the towns, neighborhoods, businesses, shops, family services and commuting patterns that are unique to Fairfield County. Ellen has been a real estate agent for over 20 years. During that time she has worked with a broad range of clients ranging from Gen Yers buying their first home, to downsizing empty nesters. She enjoys working with a diverse clientele, and makes good use of her ability to understand what her buyers really want. She listens, she communicates, and she stays on top of things. A long time client sums it up, “Ellen was always willing to go that extra mile to make sure everything was done correctly in a very timely way, and that we were always in the loop.”
Unsurprisingly, Ellen has an enthusiastic fan base of repeat clients who offer outstanding references. Ellen and her husband have resided in New Canaan since 1984. She has long been active in community organizations such as United Way, Norwalk Hospital, New Canaan public schools, and St. Michael’s Lutheran Church. She is a member of the Consolidated Multiple Listing Service, the Connecticut Board of Realtors, the New Canaan Board of Realtors, and the National Board of Realtors. Ellen is a graduate of the Realtor Institute.
