Fred Wigdor lends a wealth of business sense and marketing expertise, plus an engaging leadership style, to his role as Manhattan residential real estate specialist. As much of a successful transaction can be attributed to not just combining the right buyer and seller - but to the many financial considerations, legalities and negotiations along the way - this seasoned businessman brings just the right blend to the table to always achieve a win/win situation for his clientele.
Having himself bought, renovated and sold six NYC apartments, Fred particularly understands the importance of sound customer service on the buyer's end to assure that people are fully educated on the real estate process and informed in their decisions. He also takes his marketing efforts quite seriously when representing sellers, as he knows proper pricing and widespread exposure to the right qualified audience are key to moving a property quickly.
Prior to entering real estate, Fred served as partner for more than a decade in a $50 million wholesale apparel manufacturing company, with his main responsibilities consisting of sales and merchandising. Most recently, he worked for two publicly-traded sportswear companies, effectively mobilizing a national sales force for their branded dress divisions. Sharp, intuitive, and extremely creative in his business approach, he is empathetic to people's individual needs as well as responsive in his efforts to achieve the most satisfactory outcome.
An Upper East Side resident for the past 15 years, Fred not only lives with his wife Karen, as well as their son, but also partners his real estate efforts with her to create a powerful service team for buyers and sellers. Having also lived in Greenwich Village and Gramercy Park in earlier years, he has an in-depth knowledge of the entire Manhattan marketplace, and stands ready to serve even the most discerning customer or client no matter where their needs lie.
