Georgiana Weddington is a native New Yorker, as was her mother, and growing up in Manhattan was magical. Nowhere else in the world could one be exposed to such cultural diversity and intellectual stimulation. The city’s beauty and history influence all aspects of her life. Georgiana learned how much the city had changed from the New York of her mother’s childhood and now finds herself pointing out to friends how drastically the city has changed since she was young. In typical Manhattan fashion, she didn’t even learn how to drive until she was almost 30!
As a location scout in New York, Georgiana assisted directors in realizing their vision and provided venues for the characters to play out their lives. It also afforded her the unique opportunity to explore every corner of Manhattan and the surrounding boroughs.
