Hope Harris has been a real estate broker in the Hamptons for 20 years. She is famous for her humor (which helps in real estate) but more to the point, for her integrity and professionalism. Her knowledge of the area is comprehensive and she shares her expertise by writing a column on real estate for the Sag Harbor paper.
Hope was born and raised in the mid-west, attended Washington University in St. Louis and subsequently moved to New York City, where she worked in publishing at both Viking Press and Harper & Row before moving to East Hampton full-time.
While interested in all architecture, Hope has a passion for houses “that look endemic to the Long Island landscape.” She also paints and her work has been exhibited and sold at various local shows and galleries.
