Born and raised in New York, Jenet knows every nook and cranny of this city. She has observed with great interest as neighborhoods, their boundaries and the real estate market have evolved and changed over time. Having been a renter, co-op owner/board member, and townhouse owner, Jenet has experienced first-hand the experiences that buyers and sellers encounter.

Jenet earned the Rookie of the Year award her first year in the real estate business and has since been a prolific agent, winning Halstead’s 2011 Strategy Star award and representing buyers and sellers with honesty, integrity, dedication and considerable expertise.

With an MSW from Columbia University and successful prior careers in social work and human resources, Jenet is highly trained in the art of listening and is a creative problem-solver. Her negotiating skills were cited in a New York Times Real Estate Section article highlighting one of her sales. Jenet recognizes the inherent stress that can be involved in a transaction as significant as the buying or selling of a home, and dissipates it with her ability to take each client through each step with patience, understanding, and to get the transaction completed. She navigates through any roadblocks that come up, and sees each buyer or seller through to the closing table and often beyond.

Tenacity is present in every aspect of Jenet’s life. She is a distance runner who has completed 7 marathons (6 NYC and one Philly), a gourmet cook and baker, an avid bike rider, a patchwork quilt artist and a wife and mother of two young adult children.
