Living with her family in New Canaan since 1983 has provided her with a wealth of information about the local real estate market, schools, businesses, social organizations, and town amenities. Her two children were educated in the New Canaan public school system and a private school in Westport, in addition to two years overseas. Before moving to New Canaan, Joanne and her family moved seven times in New York, New Jersey, Kentucky, and Singapore. Clients relocating locally or internationally benefit from Joanne’s personal and business experience.

Due to her success as a real estate professional for over 10 years, she has been honored with the President’s Emerald, Gold, Silver, and Bronze Awards. She also earned the highly regarded GRI designation from the National Realtor Institute and continually enhances her knowledge through ongoing courses. Joanne is a member of the New Canaan Board of Realtors, Connecticut Association of Realtors, Consolidated Multiple Listing Service, and National Association of Realtors.

An accomplished business woman in previous careers, Joanne has held several financial positions as Vice President of a major New York Bank. She holds an MBA in Finance and a BS in Business.

In addition to the enormous energy Joanne brings to real estate, she enjoys hiking, golf, tennis, skiing, and travel. As an active volunteer in her community she has been President of the Canaan Parish Chapter of National Charity League, Board member of New Canaan CARES, Junior League of Stamford/Norwalk, Young Women’s League, Newcomers, and her church. She has also been highly involved in the schools’ PTAs.
