See what some of her clients have said:
Having recently moved to Darien from Long Island, we were lucky enough to have been referred to Joanne Shakley for our real estate needs. From the moment we met her we knew we were with a seasoned professional who knows the area and the market. In addition to being a great businesswoman, we felt very comfortable with Joanne. She treated our kids so nicely and we had some good laughs along the way. If we ever meet someone who is looking for a home we will certainly recommend Joanne to be their broker.Joanne has lived in the Rowayton/Norwalk area for more than 30 years and is passionate about Rowayton as a very unique place to live and raise a family, which she did. She has been a board member in two private associations in Rowayton and Wilson Point. Joanne actively participated with the school, and also served as President of the Nursery School Board. She served on many committees with the Norwalk Yacht Club, her church in Darien and the Garden Club of Darien.
My real estate career began in Stamford, CT in the early 80’s as a commercial broker. I was in the right place at the right time when a lot of corporations were relocating to Fairfield County from New York. Retiring as a Vice President with Rostenberg-Doern, I then transferred my sales skills to corporate interiors and returned to real estate with Wheeler Real Estate in 2000, which became Halstead in 2009 and have become a specialist in selling waterfront properties. Every year, I have earned top awards for my selling skills. When I transferred to residential real estate, I immersed myself in post graduate classes and earned the esteemed designations of Accredited Buyer’s Rep (ABR) and Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI). Adding the extra touch requires added knowledge and experience so that I may give my clients the best experience ever.Halstead Property Connecticut, LLC
