Fifteen years experience in Manhattan real estate has given John an acute understanding of what is involved in buying & selling property in New York, particularly as it relates to the coop & condominium process. Although the majority of his business has been conducted in sales, John had, prior to coming to Halstead, managed the rental/sales division of a boutique Greenwich Village real estate office, training new agents and closing deals, giving him a full understanding of the rental business, as well as furthering his problem-resolving skills. He is particularly adept at giving sellers honest & accurate estimates of their property's true worth, & designing a marketing strategy that best suits their needs, whether a Fifth Avenue Penthouse or a walk-up studio. For prospective purchasers, his knowledge of available listings and the coop/condo requirements, combined with his ability to focus on a buyer's aesthetic, practical & financial needs, are unsurpassed.

John studied history, philosophy & politics at Lancaster University in England, & is a keen student of the history & culture of New York City.
