Jon Kotcher has been a Riverdale resident for almost 15 years. He is very familiar with the entire Metro NY area, having lived in Kings, Nassau, Westchester and Rockland counties before moving to Riverdale. Since moving to Riverdale he has bought and sold two co-op apartments for his family, one of which he currently resides in with his lovely wife and four cats.

Jon’s extensive sales and marketing background started when he graduated from college and started selling for IBM. After obtaining his MBA in marketing he held numerous staff positions with Toshiba and Panasonic. At Panasonic he started a division growing it from three people to more than 135 people in three years. This was Jon’s his first experience with having to relocate people and their families. He got involved with all of the dynamics involved with each family he was dealing with. He also opened up regional offices and staffed them with the best people he could find regardless of where they lived at the time. He subsequently went into his own businesses, a five office copy machine/office automation distribution company, a printing company and an advertising specialty company.

Jon’s approach to successful selling has been to give his clients what they want and what they will be comfortable with. Jon has been told he has the “patience of a saint” and derives satisfaction by making both buyers and sellers happy with their decisions and choices. He is a solution provider, a person people trust and a pleasure to work with.

Active in his own co-op, Jon has served on its board of directors and headed many committees. His experience in both the professional world and in his private life is a great benefit for all who seek a well-informed professional. His knowledge base is one of the best in this marketplace.
