As a New York State Licensed Real Estate Salesperson, Jose has both local and international experience ranging from luxury condominiums in the United States to development and sales in Europe and Asia.

Prior to joining Halstead Property, Jose enjoyed a successful career with Saks Fifth Avenue for over 13 years. He held Senior Leadership roles on the store side in several states. In 2005, Jose moved to New York City to continue his career with Saks Fifth Avenue at the corporate level.

Jose’s first taste of real estate was an opportunity to join Capital Partners as the Director of Sales in Istanbul, Turkey. The skill sets he had developed at Saks were ideal for his transition to this role. While in Istanbul, Jose led the sales team and worked closely with marketing to support the development and sales of a 2000 key project designed by seven world-renowned architects, which included five luxury hotels. Moving back to New York City, Jose was inspired to continue his career in real estate. Jose worked closely with the developer of the successful One York Condominium project in TriBeCa.

Jose has a passion for New York City and real estate in general. You will know this once you meet him. Jose lives downtown and has lived in several neighborhoods including Battery Park City and TriBeCa. Currently, he lives in the Financial District. When not living and working in Manhattan, Jose enjoys staying fit, travel, dining out in the city, and spending quality time with his family at his weekend home in Rocky River, Ohio.
