Presentation and Negotiation Skills:  I am your broker of choice for spot-on strategizing, articulate presentation and deft salesmanship. This is because I honed my negotiation techniques and written and oral advocacy skills as a trial lawyer with Weitz & Luxenberg, New York state’s largest product liability firm. And, much like the nature of my past legal cases, New York real estate transactions concern negotiating resolutions to life-altering decisions and events involving substantial sums of money.

Teaching Skills:  In addition to glossy trade magazines, I read books and articles with small type, without pictures, and writings that are replete with boring, complicated detail. This is an ongoing effort to bolster my understanding of issues in and impacting on the sale of New York real estate. No doubt, the rigor of past career coupled with my B.A. degree from Columbia University helped cultivate my healthy appetite for the complex. In my capacity as an agent, I enjoy synthesizing dense information, an ever-present (but rather unpleasant) part of the New York real estate transaction process, and transmitting it in a manageable, lucid and entertaining manner to my customers. Your real estate experience will be more textured and much richer for it.

To Buyers:  If you do not see a particular apartment featured on my webpage that suits your needs, call me anyway. Properties that I feature on this webpage do not represent the exclusive list of properties we can view together. Because of the New York City equivalent of the “multiple listing service,” I have equal, unfettered access to EVERY property for sale in New York City. In other words, your choice of broker does not affect which apartments you get to see, but it does affect the level of professional service you enjoy. If you are impressed with my credentials and believe that working with me would redound to your ultimate advantage, then call me to arrange viewings for properties you see advertised anywhere, by anyone and by any real estate company.

Choosing an Agent:  The typical agent-customer relationship spans no fewer than four months of sustained, intense contact. This figure makes the real estate agent your most intimate and frequent advisor throughout the transaction process and usually means that you will have much more contact with your agent than with your lawyer, accountant and banker combined. In choosing an agent, a friendly face or cheery personality is a good start but they are not enough. Choose your agent wisely; you don’t want to find yourself outmaneuvered, ill-informed or both.

Leverage my unique expertise, and your deal will be done.
