As a long time New York city resident, Mary has seen neighborhoods change and grow.. Her many years in the construction industry provided a natural segue into real estate brokerage. She started her real estate career with a boutique firm and then went on to own her own successful real estate company before joining forces with Halstead Property, LLC.
Mary's passion for real estate encompasses her love of architecture and local history . As as a home owner in the West Village, she is active in community/neighborhood affairs and is one of the organizers of her local block association.
Both buyers and sellers find her knowledge of the market helpful and her interpersonal skills to be extraordinary.
Mary says " I have a knack for unearthing a client's needs (whether buyer or seller ) and throughout the process I remain an active listener and participant.
Much of Mary's business is based on referrals from satisfied clients; as she says, "real estate is all about building relationships".
The relationship between real estate agent and client can make or break the process of finding in most cases what will amount to be a dream home or apartment that will impact your thoughts, time and degree of comfort and happiness for a long time. it is in this relationship that a client must feel chemistry, respect, reliance on knowledge of the market, professionalism and most important trust. trust that your agent understands what your looking for, how things will impact you both emotionally and financially and trust that they have your best interests at heart. i can truly say that my experience with Mary had all of these characteristics and at all times I trusted her, her expertise and most important the feeling that she always was looking out for me. her honesty and integrity made my decision to buy my dream apartment always feel like the right one. i can never thank her enough and I will never forget the journey. - Salvatore DHalstead Property, LLC
