Originally from Wisconsin, Mary first worked in finance in Manhattan. She has a grown son who was raised in Park Slope, currently living with his wife in Brooklyn. Traveling throughout the USA, and China, South America and Europe has given Mary enjoyment and an appreciation of other cultures. Being in touch with nature provides relaxation, so visits to Brooklyn's Botanical Gardens, Brooklyn's varied parks and beaches are frequent.
