With New York in his blood and a natural knack for leadership and creativity, Matthew Bauman comes to Halstead Property with a fresh outlook and skill set.
Originally from Long Island, Matthew has felt at home in New York City at a young age. He has an extensive lay of the land not only in its architectural landscape, but also in its current market trends. As an avid proponent of social networking, Matthew has laid the groundwork for an innovative marketing initiative through Halstead to establish significant connections between clients and their agents with ease. With an unparalleled support team coupled with his youthful energy and enthusiasm, Matthew devotes himself entirely to his clients in an effort to efficiently and effectively accomplish what they need.
Prior to Halstead, Matthew spent some time as a Production Assistant for a Broadway Producer, helping to organize and produce the 62nd Annual Tony Awards. Upon completion of the awards ceremony, Matthew transitioned to become a personal assistant to the one and only comedienne, entrepreneur and diva extraordinaire - Joan Rivers. With these experiences, Matthew knows what it means to truly dedicate himself to his clients’ needs. Plus, he now has an artillery of one-line zingers to make even the most serious of clientele laugh.
Matthew is a magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Brown University with a degree in Theatre Arts. When he’s not touring properties for or with clients, he can usually be found lounging in Central Park, tap dancing on the Upper West Side, or trying out a new place for brunch in the West Village. He currently calls Hell’s Kitchen home, where he has happily lived for the past year.
