Mitchell comes to Halstead Property with more than ten years of experience in the New York real estate market. He is a strong negotiator and understands how to romance and successfully market a property.
A veteran of the Direct Mail Marketing world, Mitchell has worked as Vice President of Merchandising and Product Development for America's top credit card companies. He has developed successful value-added programs for companies such as First USA, Pepsi, Phillip Morris and Diners Club. He is an Alumni of American Express where he was responsible for creating a profitable Furniture Catalog and Home Furnishings business for their card members. Mitchell began his professional career at Macy's New York on a fast track from trainee to buyer in less than three years.
Mitchell has a passion for home renovation, interior design and antiques. He designed his own Chelsea loft home from raw space where he currently lives with his partner, an executive V.P. for Ben Sherman and their Yorkshire Terrier Harry Winston.
Mitchell grew up in Riverdale NY and from an early age embraced the pleasures of New York restaurants, theater and culture.
Mitchell has the rare combination of market knowledge and people skills. I knew I would be investing significant time with my real estate agent when I decided to buy an apartment and thought why not work with someone I really liked and trusted. - AWHalstead Property, LLC
