Peggy Hersam is Darien-born and knows the town and its real estate thoroughly. She takes excellent care of her clients and has made long-lasting friendships with those she’s introduced to Darien and Rowayton.
Having spent a career in sales, Peggy is no stranger to the negotiation process. After graduating from Denison University, she spent many years in magazine advertising sales in both Boston and New York. Upon settling in Darien, Peggy became executive recruiter in the magazine publishing business negotiating professional contracts.
Over the years she has worked in a variety of volunteer positions within the Darien community and beyond, including the Royle School Parent/Teacher Organization, OPUS for Person-to-Person, A Better Chance of Darien, alumni group of Cape Cod Sea Camps, alumni council of Denison University, Noroton Presbyterian Church, board member of the Darien Library and currently serves as the Rear Commodore of the Noroton Yacht Club in Darien.
Peggy’s involvement and intimate knowledge of the area serve her well to represent buyers and sellers in the Darien and Rowayton communities.
