Porter Hovey brings a deep love of interior design and an understanding of the link between an individual’s home and their personal identity to her work with all of her real estate clients. She prides herself on giving each client the same personal attention, taking the time to truly understand their needs and helping them through each step of the process.
Porter works alongside Ari Harkov, Warner Lewis, Jacob Miles, Ashley Clark, and Barbara Yan, forming The Harkov Lewis Team at Halstead Property, one of the top-producing teams at the firm. The team has represented a wide array of clientele in the sale and purchase of their homes, as well as in the leasing and sale of commercial properties throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn, including numerous professional athletes, celebrities, and business executives, as well as first-time homebuyers. The team’s extensive experience, skill set, resources, and expertise combine to deliver service and results that consistently exceed client expectations.
Prior to joining Halstead Property and the Harkov Lewis Team, Porter launched her interior design firm, Hovey Design, with her sister, Hollister. Their work has been featured in The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Elle Decoration UK, Inside Out Australia, and The New York Daily News. Their style struck a cord in the fashion world and they have become spokespeople for Ralph Lauren Vintage and were also commissioned to develop their own line of wallpaper in collaboration with Anthropologie.
Along with photographing Heirloom Modern, Porter is also an active photographer. Her work has been published in numerous major media including Interview, Art in America, New York Times On-line, T-Magazine blog, InStyle Online, and Curbed.
