Working as a Real Estate Agent has been a dream come true for me in so many ways. The experience I learn from each new client, as well as managing a busy daily schedule, has all made me a better person.
Born and educated in a family of businessmen, merchants and traders, I learned very quickly the importance of customer service. With 8 years of sales experience and leadership in international markets, I believe that my viewpoint is exceptionally unique.
Customer Service is the cornerstone of my business philosophy. Whether in management, where I worked for Militzer and Munch, in my home country; learning the process of international trade and documentation, or the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce, here in New York, where the principles of business development, policy and administrative support became daily responsibilities, I realize the necessity of a strong customer base. The combination of customer service and management, being inherently linked, became components of my life’s work, therefore I resolved to combine these skills in real estate sales.
The best advantage has been the knowledge I’ve gleaned from working in the familiar neighborhoods of –Upper West Side and Uptown areas. To me, these are the jewels of Manhattan Life. With the rebirth of Harlem and Washington Heights, or gentrification as some would characterize it, these areas turned to be the most desirable areas. I have watched and experienced the growth personally, because I lived and worked in this area for several years.
I’ve watched with interest the commercial side of real estate change in these areas as well. The diversity of neighborhoods changed and the rate of property value changed as well.
Working in numerous companies either in direct sales or in a managerial capacity, I never lost focus of my personal fundamentals. Customers have their own perspectives and specific goals and it’s my duty to tailor my service to each individual. Real estate has given me a unique opportunity to harness these skills, and personalize my customer’s needs. There is no substitute for excellence, and consequently no excuse for poor customer service.
