With more than 18 years experience in developing successful public relations programs and exclusive events in the luxury fashion and interior design industries, Richard Johnson found a natural fit in Manhattan real estate. Richard joined forces with the Louise Phillips Forbes Team bringing with him an appreciation for the architecture and interior design of the city’s most coveted addresses, and a talent for matching luxury products with a sophisticated clientele.
Prior to joining the team, Richard was vice president of public relations for Artistic Tile, a luxury tile brand revered among top interior designers and architects worldwide. Earlier, he managed elaborate marketing and public relations initiatives in the fashion and beauty industries for Guerlain Paris, LVMH, Calypso Christiane Celle, Clive Christian, Macy's, VOGUE, and dozens of other well-known brands.
Richard’s familiarity with the aspirations and tastes of stylish and savvy New Yorkers, coupled with a careful understanding of the real estate marketplace, enable him to provide the highest level of service to homebuyers and sellers. He also leverages professional relationships developed in the luxury brand sector to generate greater awareness of client properties among qualified buyers. Richard is thrilled to be working with, supporting and contributing to the growth of this highly-successful real estate team. In addition to sales, Richard manages Louise’s public relations and marketing, including advertising and promotional videos for exclusive listings, quarterly mailers, and the team website.
Richard is a graduate of Samford University in Birmingham, AL with a BA degree in Journalism and Mass Communication. He resides in Manhattan on the West Side in the Fashion District.
