Languages Spoken: FRENCH, GERMAN
Sarah Parsons loves to show new New Yorkers how to find the best deals and best locations in the city for their specific needs and dreams. She also believes in helping newcomers from all over the world and has made many deals with international customers, whose needs she understands and languages she speaks - discover the beauty of her chosen city. Herself from Frankfurt, Germany, she studied Journalism and Media Studies and then worked in New York as a travel/arts writer and art consultant since the early 80’s. By 1985 she got the calling to invest in real estate while also entering the profession to help clients secure prime investments in both New York City and the Hamptons. It helps, that she has studied Garden and Interior Design, which enhanced her eye for beauty and seeing what could be done with a space that might need a total redo, small renovations or just cosmetic sprucing up.
Sarah has become an expert in buying and renovating apartments and houses, as well as in finding great deals and superb investments. She is tenacious, energetic, warm and helpful, and always optimistic about finding the right property for every client she serves.
With her background as a fastidious author of three New York City travel guides and books on Paris, London, Barcelona and Miami, Sarah is a natural researcher as she is an invaluable encyclopedia of knowledge and tireless scout for the right location for her customers and clients. Knowing the intricacies of buying one’s first apartment or house intimately makes her a sympathetic listener and helpful ally as well. Sarah has been through it all herself and puts her own money where her mouth is, which fuels her success as a seasoned and reliable resource for home buyers.
Sarah loves her house in Southampton and apartment in Brooklyn. That’s why she puts all her energy into helping customers buy the best she can possibly find, so they too feel the same way about their homes and investments.
Sarah is active with helping raise funds for the arts department of her local Public School 321. She is a member of the Brooklyn Museum, The Brooklyn Academy of Music, the Prospect Park Alliance, The Brooklyn Public Library and is helping in a charity which aids children in learning to read, as well as a Girls Soccer Team.
Sarah is fluent in English, German and French and is learning Spanish.
