Sean Oakes is a certified Senior E-Commerce Agent, as well as a certified Senior Corporate Relocation Agent. He started his career with Halstead Property in 1999 as assistant to a top producer. For two years, he facilitated more than 60 co-op and condominium board packages and transactions. Working with this seasoned professional gave Sean the skills and habits that enabled him to succeed in this competitive industry. His experience with that top producer prepared him for the most sophisticated co-op boards, on Fifth, Madison and Park Avenue's buildings.
Sean is actively involved with townhouse, co-op, and condo sales in Harlem, Manhattan, and Brooklyn, in addition to his specialty, high-end rental transactions. Fortune 500 relocations and celebrities are an everyday part of Sean's client repertoire. His wide knowledge of the New York City market includes residential and commercial sales in Williamsburg and Greenpoint, Brooklyn, and Long Island City and Astoria, Queens.
Sean has a very strong work ethic, and a solid network and reputation in the industry that enables him to offer a high level of service. In addition, he also has a well trained team of five associates who handle both his rentals and sales accounts/portfolios, so that all clients and customers are treated with quick responsive and professional service. Most of his clients are referrals or repeat clients.
Aside from real estate, Sean adores fiction writing and has had three short stories published and continues to write. If you have ever worked with Sean, you will remember him most for making you smile while successfully guiding you through the confusing and sometimes difficult New York real estate market.
