Today, with all the real estate information you can find online, you may ask yourself, ‘Why use a broker at all?’ It is a logical question, but now it’s more important than ever to work side-by-side with an experienced and knowledgeable broker who can help guide you through the often overwhelming process of purchasing, selling or renting.

A native New Yorker, born and raised, who has been living in Brooklyn since 1989, Shari Sperling is that expert broker you need on your side. She has seen firsthand how NYC has grown and changed over the years and understands intimately the market trends and economic factors that need to be considered when searching for your new home. Shari has been a real estate broker eight years and has seen it all, she knows the entire city extremely well and specializes in the Brownstone Brooklyn market. After seeing all the ups and downs NYC has experienced over the past decade, she knows how to navigate a tough market and capitalize on a strong market.

Prior to getting involved in real estate, Shari worked at men’s grooming product company as Marketing Director. There she gained invaluable experience in the art of marketing and how to successfully present and advertise a product. This gives Shari a distinct advantage in marketing properties. Before that, she graduated from Bard College with a major in Art History, the knowledge of which only adds to her understanding of different architectural and design styles when assisting her clients.

Shari is always available and constantly on call, she believes that communication is what gets results and is the only way to conduct business in an information and service driven industry. She is very direct and honest and is always looking out for her client’s best interests. She possesses excellent matching skills and good intuition and feel for a client’s needs. Those who know her appreciate that she keeps things light and real, she understands real people have real needs and her job is to work towards meeting those needs.

In her free time, Shari enjoys Ashtanga yoga and has been practicing the art for 15 years. She has traveled extensively, visiting such places as Malta, Peru, Italy, France and Morocco, among others. She is the proud parent of two cats and power walks multiple times a week over the Brooklyn Bridge. She loves everything about Brooklyn, especially Trader Joe’s. Shari is proficient in conversational Spanish and French.
