A Native New Yorker: Sidney Whelan is a born New Yorker who has lived and worked in many parts of the City and possesses knowledge of many of its neighborhoods, from Inwood to Morningside Heights, from the Upper West to the Upper East Side, from Cobble Hill to Tribeca. Currently a Harlem resident, he previously owned two co-op apartments, serving three terms on the co-op board including one as president. Also a townhouse owner and a landlord, Sidney has a broad real estate experience that truly benefits his clients.

Two Decades in Marketing: Sid comes to real estate from a previous career in arts marketing. This background in sales and media, combined with his personal real estate experience, has enabled Sid to make over $140,000,000 in gross real estate sales since joining Halstead in late 2004. He has achieved this success by putting the needs of his clients first and by offering his customers the best possible information about the properties they’re viewing without hyperbole or pressure so that they can make informed decisions within a realistic time frame. In April of this year, he formed the Whelan Grayson Group with real estate partner Reginald Grayson in order to provide even greater service and results for his expanding client base.
